Coolsat 7100 Remote Control Question

Has anyone ever added a DN DTVPAL analog to digital converter to a CS7100 remote using either the DVD or VCR positions. I can make the TV function but I can not get the converter box recognized. I may be under the mistaken impression that the VCR/DVD positions can be used for any device. I can't even find a code for the thing. It's not the DVR, just the converter box.

Any help appreciated!

I tried making it work for a dirctvee box. No luck for me. I have a cs6100 which is almost the same thing.

universal remotes w/ learning capability at the big retailers are much easier to deal with.
