Could DTV Do Video Over WIFI Without A Receiver?

Depends on the internet speed
Anything under 5 MB/s will probably be DVD quality or worse
10 MB/s or faster will probably be HD

It wont work as the TV needs a wired connection. I just tried it on my Samsung HU8550 and it stops you from connecting over wireless even though it sees the server. It says you need a hardwire connection.

It doesnt work. The samsung TV says you need a wired connection.

RVU needs to have the Deca connected to the TV for the initial setup. After that, it may work wirelessly. The wireless video bridge is only for C41w wireless mini's.

It would not work via the TV's built in wifi. The RVU data MUST come through the Ethernet port. Wether it be by hard wired or fake mechanism to fool the TV as a media bridge, that is different.
