The SUV crimps, the blue ones, have not been on thier website for a while. I haven't been around a COX system for a while, they always loved them, so I was wondering as to whether or not they were still produced.

One cable system in Richmond, VA, used them, but, the last time I was up there, they were using Digicon and PPC EX connectors...yes the tech told me they would alternate between which ones they gave them.

Has anyone seen them in a while or are they a part of the past?

SUV has ceased production, PPC shut down production a few weeks ago, no customers left to sell them to.

Crimp was fine in its day, but compression creates a more weather sealed connection, along with the ability to pass the higher frequencies required for sat as we look to the future.

Did everybody know how many patents PPC has?
