Well, Lyngsat must not have a complete listing then. I definitely get HD locals from D*. D* didn't starting broadcasting HD locals until the Spaceways went up. Lyngsat doesn't list my market, Greensboro, NC on either Spaceway 1 or Spaceway 2. I got my HD locals before D10 ever went up. Lyngsat doesn't list any HD locals on D10 but we know it delivers some HD locals.

Do you mean for your NY locals? If so then your locals must come from D10. Before D10 went up, people in NY got their locals from the same NY HD DNS channels that other people did. But now people in NY get their HD locals from a spot beam. I guess they could be from Spaceway 1 or 2 but then you wouldn't need BBCs.

Scranton-WB HD locals are I think from a DirecTV10 spotbeam at 103. The transponder appears on the 103(s) screen (one of the higher-numbered transponders)

The true test is to kill 110/119 from your setup. Aluminum foil should work nicely.

Between 1pm and 8pm yesterday, some 0f 9xxx 'channels' appear on new net#10 (D11). I didn't check my logs last two days.


So, the list of channels assigned to D11:
9320 9315 9323 9325 9333 9338 9339 9342 9344 9347 9348 9349 9350 9353 9354 9357 9358 9359 9360 9366 9369 9374 9376 9314 9318 9319

So, if assume those 26 channels are full of video, then 26/14 = 2 channels per transponder. Should be high quality video if the bandwidth ~20 Mbps for each.

They where using game search. D* apparently fixed the hole.

This is an image from another poster. He found a loophole in the software that they have since fixed. A couple of others used the same loophole. Evidently during the blackout of the mets and phils on ESPN the alternate channel search feature took them this this channel. If they or anyone else tried to tune to this channel directly, it would not work. Only those in the NY and Phil markets were able to exploit this software loophole.
