actually, they are going in pretty much the DMA order, just not all of them.

So actually they are not going in order. :p

Why is it that they choose some lesser market over a higher ranking market? Why not just take them in order?
 
I don't see Norfolk, Va even listed however I thought that someone said it was listed for this year, '07, anyone have any info on Norfolk?
 
Licensing, carriage agreements, etc.

Seems like that might explain why some stations in a given market are not carried by Directv but not why an entire market is passed over. Unless maybe most of the big 4 stations (NBC, CBS, ABC, FOX) are holding out.
 
My market is/was #70 last I saw ( Toledo, Ohio) and it has either been passed up or dropped in ranking.
If you don't see your city on the list, that just means it's not up yet.

I really don't expect MY city or many others to go up until the new sat is up and operational.
But, I'd like to at least know where my city went.
