Hello I have a directv RECEIVER HR 22-100 black in color. I also have a HR20-100 silver in color.Why is the 22-100 so slow (menu, list , channels,) Now the HR20-100 is alot faster. Now why did i list color. I have the service plan that i can send in the black HR 22-100 but they will not promise me black.

I prefer black too. But as you said the silver HR 20s are older but faster. They only come in silver and they don't make them anymore. You can still get them as replacements though. Do you want fast or do you want black?
