Disc Sales: 'Pirates' Leads Blu-ray to Decisive Weekly Win Over HD DVD

Like bluray needs more good news. HD claim higher attachment rates blah blah blah. Bluray have more hot selling movies and that won't change. As always Bluray will win or it will be a stalemate. HD DVD as no chance. This coming from a HD DVD owner with no bluray player.

So in other words... 'people were waiting for a popular franchise to come out on BD, it did, so they bought it more than the other titles that were already out this week'.

Good job!

And then after Superbad (though outsold 3:1, is said tagged as 'not far behind' by Blu-Ray.com - guess that means when BD:HDDVD are 3:1 that's 'not far behind either?'), it looks like something in the neighborhood of 9 HD/BD discs were sold across the remainder of titles.

Nothing is going to be decided until a studio moves, until then we're bickering and debating over ratios, not even real numbers, and just PR pawns in a market where it looks like maybe 350k? discs were sold this week.
