Rick Durham and
brittanygarden
There is an issue I am having with H711 on a Hopper H3 with Hopper Plus with P15315 that has existed since I had reported this to
brittanygarden in the Hopper software threads since H392 on a Hopper H3 with Hopper Plus with P13402 is that I keep my Hopper 3 on never inactive so it's always on but if I turn off my TV using the TV power button on either the DISH 50.0 and DISH 52.0 remotes and then later turn the tv back on using the TV power button on the DISH 50.0 and DISH 52.0 remotes, the tv will turn on with the Hopper H3 in standby mode which requires hitting the SAT button to turn it back on.
So basically we have the following scenarios:
1) If I turn off my TV using the TV power button on the DISH 50.0 and DISH 52.0 remotes and then later turn the tv back on using the TV power button on either the DISH 50.0 and DISH 52.0 remotes, the tv will turn on with the Hopper H3 in standby mode which requires hitting the SAT button to turn it back on.
2) If I turned the TV off using the Amazon Firestick Remote and then turn on the TV with the Amazon Firestick Remote, the Hopper H3 is in powered on non-standby mode.
3) If I turned the TV off using the Amazon Firestick Remote and then turn on the TV using the TV power button on either the DISH 50.0 and DISH 52.0 remotes, the tv will turn on with the Hopper H3 in standby mode which requires hitting the SAT button to turn it back on.
4) If I turn off my TV using the TV power button on either the DISH 50.0 and DISH 52.0 remotes and then turn on the TV with the Amazon Firestick Remote, the tv will turn on with the Hopper H3 in standby mode which requires hitting the SAT button on either the DISH 50.0 and DISH 52.0 remotes to turn it back on.
So it seems like the TV power button on either the DISH 50.0 and DISH 52.0 remotes regardless if it's used to turn on or off the tv is putting the Hopper 3 into standby mode. Can either or both of you look into this? Thanks!
