I am seeing that software version 711 downloaded this morning. I am seeing an indicator of how long I have paused a live show just to the right of the timeline near the bottom of the screen. I wonder if this is meant to fix the pause bug that other members have been discussing?

It appears that it has fixed the issue I reported re: the inability to restart after a pause.

I see that if you press the "Recall" button on the remote when you have the "Info" up on the screen, it now shows the transponder and signal strength, as well as which satellite. In the past, it only showed which satellite. I am talking about on a H3.

If you try this on a Joey, signal strength and transponder are not available, only the satellite info.

Any rate, a nice feature on the H3!

That would be great if that is indeed fixed, Wonder if they fix the issue with issue with my red dwarf recordings, there 51 of them but only 50 of them in are the "red "dwarf" folder with 1 them listed separated, the one episode I need "different timer" to record cause meta data was wrong despite the title the same my OCD demands I find out. sadly no 711 here

That nice know what signal for channel and transponder, but should really be added to joeys too!

Would seem 710 change the "upgrade receiver" screen it now ask if you want do now or later

The problem appears only if there is a Hopper Plus with a Hopper H3 setup, the Hopper H3 without the Hopper Plus does not have the issue. The way I test it on the 50/52/54 remotes is just hitting the TV button on the side. I like the reminder on.

Added:
The problem started with H381 as seen here:
It was fixed in H398 (charlesrshell said his Hopper H3 with Hopper Plus was fixed in H397) even though it was fixed, it came back in some version after H398 as I didn't check it again until H710 and H711 which both has the issue. So the problem may even be with the Hopper Plus software and not the Hopper 3 software.

Then this dont apply to me as I dont have hopper plus as it wont work with my setup of 2x h3, 2x joey 4k

We really do need "know bug" list acknowledgment from dish and when such things are fixed, like what so so super secret about lets people know they know about bugs and when the fixed said bugs

Joeys are a client of the Hopper. They have no tuners and are really pretty dumb.

Yes am perfectly aware from what joeys are for and do and dont do.
Then you know the reason why Joeys are unable to tell you what the satellite, transponder, and signal steength is for the channel you are watching. All of that information is on the Hopper alone, its source.

If it can show the satellite the channel is on when using a joey info>recall *and it has done that for very long time* , there no reason why H3 can just show the transponder and signal strength on the joey too. If joey cant see any of info then how can joey see the channels satellite gnome magic?

Either way update did not fix problem the rogue recording not in being in correct folder for the "Series"

Live buffer pause bug does seem fixed but i only test it once on like 5 minutes pause

Maybe when the Joeys update to the 11series, and I don't believe they have yet, it will allow the signal strength as well as the transponder.

The only significant difference I've seen after the 711 update is that when I turn the TV back on after not watching for a while, it goes back to the recorded program I was watching before. In the past, it just went back to the last live channel I was watching. I like that.

Got distracted when I paused a show today. Instead of the 60 minute save of the delayed content it went well over two hours. A new feature or something I missed previously?
Was that program on one of your main local networks? If so those are always being buffered on one of your tuners.

When you go back past the 1 hour or the current program in the guide for the bar on the bottom, is the title and the time shown on top of that bar correct for what you are watching? Like this for example, the current time was 3:53PM and the position is at 2:59PM but the content is actually from 1:00PM-2:00PM.

That ofcourse is from a International streaming channel. Today I did a pause and it unpaused itself after it paused for 60 minutes. This is on a Hopper 3 + Hopper Plus setup.

Rick Durham and brittanygarden

There is an issue I am having with H711 on a Hopper H3 with Hopper Plus with P15315 that has existed since I had reported this to brittanygarden in the Hopper software threads since H392 on a Hopper H3 with Hopper Plus with P13402 is that I keep my Hopper 3 on never inactive so it's always on but if I turn off my TV using the TV power button on either the DISH 50.0 and DISH 52.0 remotes and then later turn the tv back on using the TV power button on the DISH 50.0 and DISH 52.0 remotes, the tv will turn on with the Hopper H3 in standby mode which requires hitting the SAT button to turn it back on.

So basically we have the following scenarios:
1) If I turn off my TV using the TV power button on the DISH 50.0 and DISH 52.0 remotes and then later turn the tv back on using the TV power button on either the DISH 50.0 and DISH 52.0 remotes, the tv will turn on with the Hopper H3 in standby mode which requires hitting the SAT button to turn it back on.
2) If I turned the TV off using the Amazon Firestick Remote and then turn on the TV with the Amazon Firestick Remote, the Hopper H3 is in powered on non-standby mode.
3) If I turned the TV off using the Amazon Firestick Remote and then turn on the TV using the TV power button on either the DISH 50.0 and DISH 52.0 remotes, the tv will turn on with the Hopper H3 in standby mode which requires hitting the SAT button to turn it back on.
4) If I turn off my TV using the TV power button on either the DISH 50.0 and DISH 52.0 remotes and then turn on the TV with the Amazon Firestick Remote, the tv will turn on with the Hopper H3 in standby mode which requires hitting the SAT button on either the DISH 50.0 and DISH 52.0 remotes to turn it back on.

So it seems like the TV power button on either the DISH 50.0 and DISH 52.0 remotes regardless if it's used to turn on or off the tv is putting the Hopper 3 into standby mode. Can either or both of you look into this? Thanks!
