Here they are:

Welcome Pack $5
All other packs $2
$3 for locals

Also some surcharge changes:
The following monthly surcharges are also increasing by the amount stated: Connecticut $0.37, Delaware $0.11, Kentucky $0.08, Ohio $0.02, Puerto Rico $0.01 and FCC $0.01.

Thankfully nothing changed on receivers. Not as big of a jump as I thought.

So locals are now $17.00?

They were $14.00 + $3.00 increase= $17.00. Thank God for an antenna and get them FREE.

When I have a potential customer ask about Dish and they are wanting to pay as little as possible, I always mention they can drop the locals. Younger people say "heck yeah...never watch them anyway". Older folks "I gotta have my locals".

To be fair, I think the cables companies have been over $20 for a few years now for locals. Personally I think it is ridiculous that the locals are allowed to charge retrans fees, those are public airwaves they are using to broadcast.

The option to not pay for locals is one of the reasons I still have Dish.

Other than football the broadcast networks don't have much worth watching.

I haven't watched network programming in about 40 years, ever since I realized that it is nothing more than a social engineering platform. I don't need some media mogul dictating my values and morals.

I do watch golf and football, but it seems they are getting into the public consciousness business more and more also nowadays. I mainly just fast forward through the commercials, talking heads, and so forth between the actual action.

Flame suit on. :flame

The other thing I find interesting is that they are only increasing packages by $2. And...the Disney/ESPN contract is coming up for renewal in a handful of weeks or months. I would have thought that Dish would have increased more than $2 for Disney/ESPN.

So, in your case, it doesn't matter if it was on Network or Streaming (which can still be network) ... you just don't watch TV, and thats Fine.

Haven't been around here in a while logged in. We actually dropped Dish last year after they wanted to put us back in contract after years of not being in one after our dish was breaking. (It is interesting thankfully how it withstood Hurricane Ida and was our source of entertainment while we did not have Internet for a long time.) Maybe we could have played CSR roulette. That seemed to be the last straw even at the grandfathered Welcome Pack price which was a few dollars cheaper. It pains me to see the increases again. I am not trying to sway people away, but I never thought we would drop Dish after being comfortable with them for so many years. (Just know you have options unless maybe if you live in a really rural area...) Upgrading our equipment probably would have cost us even if not initially with more monthly fees although the CSR claimed adding a Hopper would not. So, if anyone is trying to save and put of contract or afraid to make the leap, please do not. There are many alternatives. Some you can even try even on a free trial before dropping Dish if you want to see if you can do it. Maybe you might find yourself wanting to keep Dish.
I know the television landscape is changing. I miss the days where I look forward to jumping on here to see the new uplink reports and new HD channels. We added an antenna in the place of Dish. It is nice to watch the locals as they look better along with the subchannels. Sometimes we watch them more than the streaming options. I already had subscriptions to Philo, Paramount Plus, Peacock, and Hulu via Spotify. I also did a yearly deal for Starz but barely use it. I figured with the antenna we would get our locals which we watched the most on Dish before we dropped it. Luckily, we get Oxygen as a subchannel and MeTV Toons although it's on a low powered channel (but also on Philo) as an alternative to Boomerang. It is one of my favorite channels.
