How come the Longhorn network isn't in HD?? What good is it if it isn't because you can't watch football on standard considering every single TV now being sold is HD and just makes standard look like crap.

Read the uplink reports. It's up in testing.

it went live yesterday afternoon, during the usual Wednesday uplinks.the LHN HD feed is basically only for the games as the rest of the network's content will be SD only. it looks like LHN will be consider an RSN instead of a national network in the minds of Dish. and HD RSN 24/7 won't be happening until after they do away with MPEG-2 technology, which Dish is taking their time with that as Dish is Dish.
