It could also mean that both D* and E* had signed ESPNewsHD carriage agreement, which is not necessarily to carry it on a certain day. I remember when Comcast said they signed some new HD channels two years ago, we still did not have them as recently as a few weeks ago.

Since both SciFi HD and USA HD have placeholders on 110, there's no reason for AMC-14's failure to hold them up any longer. Also, Tricia Helfer's "tease appearance" on the last CC becomes utterly pointless.
