Does a Quad Universal Lnb works as four single lnb

I am new to this FTA thing and it has been amazing with what i have discovered. I just purchased a Quad Lnb which hasn't arrived yet. My question is does the Quad Universal Lnb work as a four single Lnb? If anyone has a guide in using it to get four different satellites.

You can hook 4 receivers to it. Each can see the one satellite the dish is aimed at. To see different satellites requires another dish setup, or motorizing the one dish.
