Junk shop find, a DrSat-268. What's odd is I find no internet search data on either drsat or a 268. Internally it has STI5518 stb chip but larger memory size. no jtag port but only a serial 9 pin. does anyone know what this thing is? The big problem at the moment is no remote will talk to/learn it, so I can't enter data values or edit any list. I did factory defaul;ts, and the menus come up and front panel buttons work, but I need to enter numeric data in for sat setup to see if it works, and/or load updates. Is there any place to update from? Or if its a clone can I load other firmware into it?
