best thing to do is to get the maps first. Move dish to a satellite with a premium movie channel (G1 170 or G5 100) and let it sit for 10 minutes. It should load the newest maps
Joe
did we tell you this stuff is very addictive, when you first started ?
you will love the clarity and quality of the picture .... one thing to note... i don't think the 905 can do bandstacked .... it should be able to get half but not the stacked part. someone will jump in if i'm wrong.
Yes, Gabs, you did.....
This is great news!
I have a co rotor feed also, and the wiring is in. I bought some 40 feet of the multi conductor cable. (2 coax, actuator wires, skew wires and a ground)
Glad I did now
Oh, No No No, ye of many satellites.
These are the full bodied, C-band blocking,75 ft tall, upstate New York variety...
Packed close together.
Even when the leaves fall, there are the branches...
Oh the humanity......
well joe there are many options
a 7 1/2 ft mesh dish is lighter and you could mount it up higher ( maybe strap it to the house)
to gain LOS above the trees.
they sound like large trees so i would hate to cut them.
depending on the location of the dish is there anywhere you can move it ( or place a second dish) to get a clear line of sight ?
Can I get away with 125 ONLY ?
That's as far west as I can get by
setting up a 7 1/2 footer on s/w side of my property.
Will be picking up 7 1/2 foot Echostar Sunday ........
