DTC 210 audio setup

The dtc 210 system setup audio option digital decoding mode: audio out has two options - audip out and tv out.
The manual makes no mention of these and they don't seem to make a difference.

Does anyone know (without speculating) what they are for?

Just a guess here, but I am thinking "audio out" will be when you use any audio connection other than the RF/coax out, and the "tv out" is for that coax? Just a guess but it seems like a strange option because I would want all audio and video outputs hot at all times

Just a guess but "audio out" for digital connection to an outbound DD decoder and "TV out" for one built into a compatable RCA TV?

Not sure what a "gurss" is but if you don't want any help I can live with it. Call RCA and ask them. Sorry I gave you an idea to check out.
