I’m looking for some help in getting back my HD local channels?
I have a HD H20-100 Direct TV box and always had the localHD channels when they came in on the 380’s numbers. Since DTV changed to thestandard3,6,10,29 … I can’t get them in for any long periods of time. I have relocatedthe Slim Line dish at least 4 times and have the Satellite signals as follows;
· 101—lowest transponder is 93 the highest 100
· 110—lowest transponder is 95 the highest 96
· 119—lowest transponder is 49 the highest 100
· 99C—lowest is 86 the highest 92
· 99s – #1 to #8= 20,57,14,45,0,96,na,na
o #9 -#16+ an all but 22 on #15
o #17 to 24= 98,95,0,0,75,80,23,-
o #25 to #32= all na
· 103S – lowest 76 the highest 95
· 103ca—the lowest 87 the highest is 91
· 103cb—the lowest is 83 the highest is 87
The dish is at 225º Azimuth, 36º Elevation and 65º tilt
No matter what I do I can’t get the #99 levels any higher??
I’m looking for the Philadelphia locals and the location isat a zip code of 16923.
Any help would be appreciated.

Have you tried Refreshing your recvrs ?

Have you checked to make sure that D* has them active on your account.

I'm presuming your talking about Sat delivered Local channels, vs OTA .

Many years ago they were done the way you mentioned, but have changed a long time ago.

Your using a VERY OLD recvr, is this the only recvr your using, if not, do they show up on your other newer recvrs ?

From what I see, your Locals in HD should be on Sat 103(s) and Transponder 15, I would check and see what your reading are on that location ... your probably gonna be like mid 90's, the rest of the numbers on THAT Sat don't mean much to you as they don't effect you, so them being low is not a problem if they are.

Does the locals saying "searching for signal"? H20's are notorious for having everything except for locals and when you check the signals on a meter they're fine but the H20 for some reason refuses to process it for some reason. May possibly be as simple as receiver swap but your signals do need tweak. The 99 and 103ca and 103cb are a little low

Thanks, the box is old and I looked at 103S #15 and it is at 33.

I was thinking of up grading to a DVR

If you upgrade the tech will get you fixed up. We have to have solid signals on all satellites in order to even activate the new receiver

If your only at 33%, you'll likely never get a solid signal on your locals.

Like Hutch said, if your gonna upgrade, go ahead and do it and they will get you all the new stuff required.
