IFOEdit (freeware) is for PC use. If you want a true 16x9 flag, it's a bit of work. Here's what I do:

1. Record or dub to a DVD-RAM disc
2. Use TMPGEnc DVD Author ($57) (or similar) to import the video to your PC using a DVD-RAM capable drive
3. Make a DVD Video & save to your hard drive
4. Use IFOEdit to correct the 4x3 flag to 16x9 using these instructions
5. Burn DVD-R using TMPGEnc DVD Author, Nero (best) or whatever burning software you prefer

Boy have the prices dropped on DVD Recorders. I found one for under $200.
