I Hope T-2 is HD and not an upconvert like the Vacation movies from Tnt over the weekend

I don't even bother with any movies on TNT. The stinking logo on the screen, AND the commercials...

I Hope T-2 is HD and not an upconvert like the Vacation movies from Tnt over the weekend

T-2 was the first film released in HD.

It was released in a Special Edition DVD that had a VC-1 (aka WMV9) MPEG4 high definition file playable on a PC (as well as a DVD-Video that was mastered from a high def master).

So, it would be especially heinous to upconvert an SD version...

Two showings of the original 1958 The Blob with a very young Steve McQueen on HDNet-Movies on September 30th.

In between, they are also showing the remake (for completists, I suppose).

My Wireless IP must have taken damage from severe Thunderstorms Thursday night as it has been down till 5pm the last 2 days or I would have posted the Austin Powers movies and Saving Pvt Ryan (which will repeat Sunday on TNT) The Castle is also on Sunday and all looked pretty decent today...
