I currently have 2 h24s hooked up to a HTPC running Sagetv. I am looking at switching to a directv DVR, but am worried about loosing one feature of Sage. It keeps a list of all shows that I have ever watched and will not record one of those shows again. I watch a lot of reruns, but don't want to watch one I have already seen. Do the direct dvrs do something similar. I understand that my current list wouldn't be transferable, but is the feature even offered? If not, I guess I will stick with my current setup.

The DVR can be set to not record a show if it has been recorded in the previous 28 days.
However, a lot depends on the accuracy of the guide data.
