I'm currently with Dish, thinking of switching back to Directv. Does Directv offer a HD DVR that has OTA capabilities?

Just a word of caution; be careful what you ask for. I guess it is possible to mix OTA and raw DirecTV signals. But D*"s new technology is SWM for Whole Home DVR and that apparently does not play well with OTA. So, you really need to be very specific about what you want. I don't have personal experience with this, but this forum is full of posts regarding issues with OTA and SWM.

The DVR itself lacks OTA tuners so you must purchase an outboard tuner (AM21). I highly recommend doing some research on the AM21 as it has some business decisions imposed on it that may limit its utility in individual applications.

Note also that the AM21 does not get around the two tuner recording limit of the HD DVR.
