Yes I saw it....Im in Northern Arizona....saw it on 348
 
It's National Weather Awareness Week. In Ohio the sirens went off at 9:50am along with the weather alert radios as a "tornado drill". According to friends, many schools took part in the tornado drill.
I didn't know anything about it, and our tests are at noon on the first wednesday of the month. I was concerned for just a brief moment before I found the info.

I guess the FCC is going to make sat companies start doing this. Thanks for the annoyance FCC.
well, both DirecTV and Dish are required to have the EAS since 2007. In fact, they have to do EAS Test all the time, but I haven't see a lot of them at all.

Yup, I heard the sirens today at 9:50 where I was :)
