Take at look at ku lnb that made commercially (Norsat as an example), none of them are measured at .3
A Norsat 1.0 High Stability beats a hell of of ANY 0.3 lnbfs any day in any condition!!!

Stability is very important. I have a Norsat .9 high stability commercial LNB on a Channel Master feedhorn mounted to my 1 meter Channel Master G-10R dish. Its performance matches my Invacom .3 on a 36" dish.

The only problem is I'm stuck with only one polarity with the Norsat, but since it's fixed on G-10R and most transponders are vertical, its not a big deal.

Now this might be the easiest way to go? Looks easy! What did you use for the "strap"?

If you have a 40mm neck on the lnbf and you want to keep the plastic housing around it, the old Primestar bracket can be modified fairly easy to hold the lnbf.
