FanDuel Sports Networks could possibly shutter soon

Part of a big thread already

Aren't they raking in enough from betting to pay for tv rights?
FanDuel is sponsoring the channels not running them. Sinclair or whatever the clusterduck is called now wanted to incorporate gambling but they forgot to research it first.

Looking at my new Comcast bill is no wonder people are dropping cable.
How much is the local channel fee and RSN fee in your area? I don't have Comcast, but last time I talked to one of my friends who does, he said that the Chicago locals was around $40 and the RSN fee is north of $20. And with the changes to CHSN and Marquee going up a tier, it is an additional $20 beyond the RSN fee to watch them now...

My total bill is over 300 now. Including internet.

To get RSNs you need the higher tier.

The entity is named Main Street Sports Group (a derivative of Diamond Sports Group?).

Sinclair has always maintained an arm's-length relationship.
For financial liability reasons. This failure would have otherwise ended Sinclair.

Is the gap narrowing? Considering you may need 2-3 streamers. Ignoring sports to keep it simple.
No I don't think it is. It can't narrow if both are still raising their prices. The price increase percentage is lower for sat and cable than the price increase percentage of streamers because they are already so expensive but the dollar amounts for my DIRECTV service is more than any streamer I use. Plus the DIRECTV increases are always every 10, 11, or 12 months. Streamers don't always raise theirs every year. Always compare dollar amounts. Not percentages.
