Finally got the 10 foot Unimesh on the pole last night with the help of some of the guys at my Ultralight flyers meeting.
Now all I have to do is get it aligned. I got my new VboxV also and found it's a neat piece of equipment: change sats and the dish moves to the selected sat!

Hoping to tinker after work tonight, stopped by Lowes at lunch and got new bolts for the mount.

great to hear, V boxes are great. See the Geo orbit website on c-band dish tuning.

You find your true south satellite and set your elevation and declination angles.
after that you may have to tweak the polar axis a little bit but you will get it.

Have fun.

Done!!
Works like a charm..... signal strengths up 2-3 points across the board.
I can only get 6 sats because of trees.
The actuator it came with is a little wimpy for a 10 footer, I have to get that pulse generator
ordered for the Saginaw...

Will get pics soon,
The wife says the Unimesh looks "Classier"....
The 9 foot KTI is free for the taking. Norwich, NY

Here they are...
The one with the snow was taken while the dish was at the original owner's home...
