I live at Lat 41.5N, Long 72W in Woodstock Ct.
The Satellite due south of me is AMC-6.
Is is possible to get a signal from AMC-6 with my equipment?

Pansat 3500S
Invacom SNH-031
Windgard 76 Antenna
SG-2100 Motorized H-H Motor

I have no problem picking up SBS-6 at Long 74W.
If I use SBS-6 as my true South setting, how do I compensate for the
2 degree differents for true South at Long 72W.

Sure is, someone here sitting in front of their system maybe kind enough to PM you a LIVE channel or Transponder to use..........

If you wanted to use another satellite you would have to USALS over then point the dish........

Always a good idea to have your True south satellite already found and loaded in the receiver before adding a motor........but it can be done!

I am sorry, but I don't understand your reply.
I think you were asking maybe someone to PM me with some basic information that I might need in order to use AMC-6 for my True South location.
Would really appreciate that information however it is available.
Thanks for you reply and time.
Jack

Try using 11839 Vertical with a symbol rate of 25320. This is a data carrier but will register signal and quality for aiming purposes.

Thank you Isat for the information. Will try again in the next few days to get better alignment.
