Gas Price Info With National Gas Temperature Map

Ouch! That looks more like a diesel price than a gas price.

My Costco is stuck at $3.159 for 88 octane corn gas (E10) for going on three weeks. 92 octane corn gas is $3.559.

If only it were that easy.
OUCH is right, but that's good ole CA for ya!!!!
BTW i know the manager of the BK so it helps!!!

It's easy, your peoples republic isn't as bad as his peoples republic.
California has numerous fees for "programs" as of November 2022:
  • 53.8 cent/gallon gas tax
  • 23 cent/gallon "cap-and-trade" greenhouse gases
  • 18 cent/gallon low-carbon fuels
  • 2 cent/gallon underground fuel storage
  • an average 3.7% sales tax
Oregon has:
  • 38 cent/gallon gas tax
  • local tax in some cities (not mine)
  • a general prohibition on self-service (motorcycles and some rural areas excepted)
I reason that none of these should be causing the difference between our respective gas prices to change much from one week to the next since none of the numbers changes other than the sales tax amount. While the pricing in the PRC is likely to be higher (depending on the cost of mini-serve versus self-serve -- a number that I expect is not variable), it should be about the same amount higher or lower from week to week.
