Great white north
Evening folks,,,

My Geosat CK-1 did not come with any set up instructions, but from reading a thread from this site,,,,it was mentioning that the aarow had to be positioned at 9 o'clock,,,,,

Pls note from pic 1,,,,,the position is at abt 8 o'clock,,,now since the skewing has to normally be clockwise,,,,,as you can see in pic # 2,,,the LNB cannot turn anymore due to beeing blocked by the base of the button hook,,,,,

The distance is set as per (Winegard) at 33" 5/16th so I cannot really move to avoid the base,,,,,

Yr input wld be appreciated

Cheers,,,,

Kinda hard to tell , but can you twist it around to 3 o'clock instead?
Rotating the thing 180° (upside down) is the same as having it right side up.
If so, then tune it five or ten degrees each way, looking for the best signal Quality.

You CANNOT have the Ku side that far off and expect to get anything.

You need to follow Anole's instructions above to get anything on Ku.
I would work with the bend in the arm going above the CK-1 instead of the below the CK-1 in this case :)

One last thing, peak your Ku skew on your True South satellite.
I could never get it set right when peaking 24 degrees off center.
You head to TS, peak, and BAM! Perfect skew across the arc.

Tks meine and swamp,,,,my fd ratio is .278...it's a very deep dish,,,actually the distance recommended by Winegard is 33" 5/16th,,,,in the picture she is set at that measurement,,,,,,so if I understand right from Anole,,,,,I have to twist the LNB 180 degrees at 3 o'clock instead of 9 o'clock right ?

Cheers,,,,
