GI DSR-4200V "SLP" ?

This morning while watching TV, I noticed that the display on my 4200 had "SLP" instead of the normal 3-digit channel number.
I switched to it's input on the TV to find no audio, and a black screen.
...hmm, I thought it was done for!
Turns out a 15 second plug-pull reset fixed it, but I have no idea why it did this 'cause I've never seen anything but channel numbers on the display before.
Any thoughts? ...

That's funny...the VHS thing was what came to mind first! LOL
I'm thinking that I did something, since my DSR 920 uses the same remote codes, and I was using it when the 4200 had this "SLP" on it.
Maybe there is some kind of sleep timer in it. It's still authorized, since the unplug/re-plug fixed it and it's still receiving the same programming.
(WUT type stuff )
Just seemed strange since I'd never seen that before, and that box stays on 24/7.
