Woo Hoo! I just bought a Viewsat MaxHD with 8PSK module off Ebay for $90. I've never used a Viewsat, but it does DVB-S2, 8PSK, has PVR capabilities, and blind scan. For $90 I couldn't pass it up. Thank God for ex-hackers.

oh god I really hate to burst your bubble but I guess you outta know

S2 does not work

8PSK in it is only for Dish Network (which is now encrypted). Will not work with regular 8PSK like NBC

but that was over a year ago so it may have changed. Highly unlikely but it might have changed

CRAP!!! I would have researched it further, but the auction was up in a few minutes. I guess it's not all that bad, though. My Coolsat was getting a little flaky, and at least it has the PVR capabilities. It also came with a 3 port DiSEqc switch and a USB flash drive. So all in all it still wasn't too bad of a deal. And who knows, they may fix the S2 problem in the future.

Anyway, thanks for the info Ice.
