Have you noticed any issues with your WD 1.5TB yet? It seems like the drive keeps accessing the heads, like it's formatting the drive. Have you noticed this with your drive?

I haven't actually watched anything off of it yet, I moved all of my Survivors to it along with overflowed Heroes...

I think I did record the last Survivor from it to my pc via the Hauppauge then converted to AVC HD to watch in my HT (commercials removed)no glitches...

I'll give mine a test this weekend... the 1 TB from Wally World Black Friday deal I have put disc images on for a WD TV, no problems with it... wish I had bought another one of those...

I've had no issues with the 1.5 TB I just got, same one as dfergie.

Dell had a 500GB 2.5" HDD for Notebook for $1.99 + shipping.. total $9.86 shipped (big mistake)

Will the 722k recognize a 2TB?!

I just went online tech chat and E* says'" we only support 1TB EHD". Say it isn't so...

I can only vouch for 1.5TB but some others have had 2TB on the 622/722/722k machines.
As for price, you seem to have a good one there. I suggest the best you can do today is $60/TB (1TB to 2TB sizes) plus $10 for a USB case integrated or $20 once for a "stand" for SATA on USB and a bit more for more connections modes not used by Dish.
