Has DISH discontinued the OTA dongle?

These comments just ad to my feeling that upgrading to Hoer 3 was a bad idea. The more I use it the last 24 hours the more I feel that 16 tuners was one step forward but the theOTA along with other design changes feel like 2 or more steps backwards.

OTA will be foxed next month.

I don't think they are coming back in stock. Dish seems to be testing a new two tuner version though as reported in different threads...

My thought is that a dual tuner OTA will be much appreciated. but as I said in the other thread...



I hope DISH comes through with a winner and provides the full functionality without delays. Come on, do it for the kids.

My original Hopper OTA adapter stopped working a few months ago so I'm looking forward to getting this dual tuner and its functionality..

I'm hearing that the new OTA adapters will be available on Jan 24 for $59.99 each. At that time they will work like the old ones providing a single tuner. Software support to get the second tuner working is expected around May.

No, but if the software is ever released for tuner #2, there'll be an additional $59.99 "Secondary OTA Tuner Activation Fee" required in order to use it.
