Wondering around after this mornings general assembly I found a complete Hopper System setup and working... since no one was around I picked up the remote and started playing. First I played with the new AutoHop feature which I found worked REALLY well.
But then in playing around I noticed this Hopper was special and its running Beta software, so I dug and found what could be a fun new feature on the Hopper...
Imagine playing a game and using your Smartphone as the remote control?
You won't have to imagine much more its coming soon from DISH!
Found a new icon on the Apps screen called WE Draw and clicking on it has taken me to a new world of interactive entertainment.
First app I tried is We Draw which is like the game Pictures with Friends. I tried downloading the app, however the game required a special beta version of the We Draw software. Looks like an interesting game and by using your phone as the drawing pad this game looks like it could be a bunch of FUN!
Other games included Poker, Trivia as well as a HTML 5 browser test.
