Hopper 3 Feature Sheet

Why would you even pay extra for 4k option from Netflix if you don't have the download speed. (Dish isn't going to give you 4k Netflix if you haven't paid for it.)

I'm not sure Dish has anything to do with the guide data.
Dish copies the guide data for the -1 sub-channel from the satellite-carried channel, so when there's a dispute and they pull the satellite-carried channel's data, the OTA channel's data goes away with it.

Dish can do anything they want. They buy the guide data. The OTA channel is NOT part of the dispute. They could leave if up, if they took the effort to satisfy a customers needs, which will never happen. since there is no money in it for Dish. Any comments from DIRT!

Perhaps I am missing something, but does the Hopper 3 require MoCA?

When I used to have Dish, I used ethernet to connect my Joeys to my Hopper, which freed up my coax distribution (for outlets other than my Hopper) for OTA signals. If I ever come back to Dish, which would be my first choice, from OTA-only, I would prefer to have that setup again.
