HR 20 MRV

So,
I found today that to hook up a receiver DECA to a hr20, you have to (from LNB) 2 way, BS filter to SWM port, then receiver DECA for power to Sat port 2. Then Ethernet from DECA in top port. Without theBS filter the signal gets all pixelated...any one else know of this?

Well first, it ONLY applies to the HR20-100 model; the -700 doesn't need this mod. AND yea, it's been pretty well know only since MRV service came out over 3+ years ago...

Yup, I just swap them out unless a customer is dead set on keeping the receiver for the OTA or recordings

Same the HR20-100 is garbage... the 700s were good, but other than that, i system swap these boxes in the field.

PLEASE LOG IN TO GET RID OF THESE ADS!
