I borrowed Halo from a friend

I'm gonna give the single player campain a go this weekend, and see if I like it enough to buy it. In general I'm not much good at shooter type games, but I'm looking forward to it.

I also got Prince of Persia Warrior Within so we'll see how that goes as well.

I'll second that..... I think I'm pretty good and then I go online and get smacked down continuously.... Some of these guys play hours a day for the last few years.....

Same thing happened with Gears of War. The only game I've played where the reverse is true is Novadrome. All those years of playing Carmageddon made me really good at driving combat games, I guess.....

The single campaign game is still way fun though. Nothing funnier that lauching a rocket at a grunt and send him flying over a cliff whining all the way....
