I was swapping my cheap lnb on my corotor II (10' dish) and I connected the c band coax without the lnb mounted on the feedhorn.

I powered up the DSR-905 and tuned it to MTV Hits on W5.

My dish was also pointed at W5

I could hold the lnb about 4 inches away from the feedhorn flange and still getting a signal!!

No bolts or gaskets. The signal was travelling from the little probe in the feedhorn about 4" in open air to the lnb.

Thought some of you would find that kind of cool.
