Spotted a 8-12 foot winegard dish. Perf panels. Round frame. Von Wieise Acuator run of the mill winegard lnb.

Is it worth taking down from someone?

Yes, I think it is worth getting. Is this the dish you are looking at? They are alumminum.

1. What years were these made? im gonna say 85-95.\
2. Is this dish bigger then 10 foot?
3. Whats all up there for free?
4. Anything Still on analog?
5. How hard are big dishes to tune can you point it south and expect to hit something?

Well, I'd say you could get a real load of stuff.
What you want, or need, that's another point.
IF you live out in the sticks, maybe anything would be good. ;)

Scroll down The List to the C-band section.
More info here on Global-CM web site, too.
Besides all the help you'll get here, you might want to educate yourself on a BUD setup site.

I think you'll be surprised, and pleased.

There are 13 pages to that manual. Probably on the next update to the manual section, all 13 pages will be there. If I had High speed internet, I could email it all to you now, but it takes about 45 minutes on dial up.

I just took down a 10' Unimesh and am in the process of setting it up at my house. If you don't have C-band already, I'd say jump on it. I took the Unimesh down in about an hour or so. I've probably got 8 or 10 hours into refurbishing and reassembly so far, but I think it's going to be well worth it. Take a look at my thread for more info my experience.
