Internet Connection

I am new to DTV and confused about what I ned to do to be able to get VOD and pay per view.

I have the new SWM dish, two HR24-500's, and a SD receiver. I do not have whole home service.

I am not certain what DECA is, and what part it plays in conecting to the Internet.

I guess basically Im asking what all I need to do to be about to get PPV and VOD.

You can just connect the two HD DVRs to your router via the ethernet ports.

There are supported wireless adapters that can be used.
I'm not sure which ones are the best, but a search on the forum should bring up a thread or two.

The two supported wireless adapters are the Linksys WGA600N and WET610N. They can be set up from the DVR menu. Other adapters can be used but need to be configured by connecting them to a PC or using Wi-Fi Protected Setup, if supported.

You do unless you have MRV. But that also requires a DECA adapter vs. a direct connection. So unless you want MRV you will need a wireless adapter at each receiver to get VOD.

What if you DO have whole house DVR? I can't connect using Ethernet. Will connecting wirelessly disable the whole house DVR?
