Just had dish realigned. But AM21 is still not working. What is going on?

Okay, so my AM21 off-air channels went out shortly after a couple stations from my receiver (in which the dish needed realigning) went out. Someone came and aligned the dish, but the off-air stations are still a bust. Does the dish still need more aligning for the off-air stations to work. Or did I bump something from looking at my Genie? Is there anything I can do to fix it? Or has it gone defective? I did check the connection from the Genie to the AM21 and it's on tight.

The dish has no effect on the AM21's reception, just guide data. I would assume that you're already reset the receiver, so I would guess the AM21 is dead.

Go into the off-air section of settings on your Genie. Reset the off-air, then start again as if this was the first time you had set up off air.
By the way, are you sure you don't have an antenna or off-air cable issue?

Took some toggling but I got it working again. No problem.

What did you find to be the problem ?

I was gonna ask if it was a lack of OTA channels (no picture) on the AM 21 or more like guide info ...
I was wondering it your OTA antenna might just need a slight adjustment, I have to do that every once in a while.

Don't know. I did notice after I unplugged it and plugged it back in it worked.

Hmmm, keep an eye on it to see if it recurred s (stupid autofil)
Could have just been a glitch, but I'd watch it for a bit to see.
