I recently bought a 2007 Mustang with a Kenwood DNX9990HD nav unit. Sirius was not installed, so I purchased the sirius module for the unit. It worked great for a few months, but then I started getting "check antenna" messages. Since I visited my stereo guru soon after, I bought another antenna, this one from Sirius. Its plugged in properly, but I'm still getting the message and spotty reception. I'll admit that the antenna is mounted on the dash, where the original installer put it, but it did work well. Is it possible that remounting the antenna will clear this up, or do I actually have a hardware problem?
