La Crosse/Eau Claire HD Locals

I just got a 722 and the HD Absolute package and love it. My question is I just seen that DirecTV announced that the La Crosse/Eau Claire HD Locals will be available by the end of the year. Does anybody know if Dish will be carrying them anytime soon?

nope, not even *ish can, they dont give dates anymore they just say "soon"
youll learn that soon is *ish's answer for everything

"Soon" could be anywhere from the end of this year to some indeterminate point in time in the future as E* uses the term.

D* has announced HD locals by the end of the year in my #84 DMA. We aren't even on E*'s radar yet. At least some markets have been mentioned in Dish Chats. D* even has the Peoria-Bloomington DMA (#117) announced and that's a pretty small market although on the same beam as mine I would guess. I get HD OTA just fine so I really don't care a lot about getting HD locals, but quite a few folk around here do care quite a bit. I suspect a migration in my area to D* will occur unless E* gets its act together.
