Was that the HD-DVD version? The anamorphic widescreen comment and all.

I watched it on the bedroom set, but I have found that the set's own resolution is the limiting factor. 720P my butt.

Yeah, it was the HD DVD. I was surprised by the anamorphic... first I had seen. I will check out the disc again, but it definitely was not standard DVD (those don't look so good, even upconverted, on 106").

Off to buy Stargate Continuum -- even though its BD
