I have no personal experience but do remember reading threads about it. Some liked it, others not so much. Search for Linkbox 8000 under threads in the search box and you will find some opinions about it.

My personal recommendations based on the current receivers available would be the Amiko HD265 for a good, solid, easy to use basic receiver. For an all the bells and whistles receiver get the Edision MIO 4K (single tuner) or the 4K+ (dual tuners). All are sold by members here who will provide good support for your purchase.
