Hi All,

I am trying to set my mother up with FTA. She has a conventional DirectTV setup that is no longer hooked up. What LNB fits in the DirectTV mount (the kind that slides into the support arm)? What linear LNB would you recommend.

I have another question as well. Her dish is pointed at 101 west. Do I have to make a slight tweak for AMC 4 from the DTV sat at 101?

Thanks in advance.

I don't think there are any linear LNBs that are built to fit that dish, and the dish is probably too small, for FTA you need to have at least a 31" dish.

I think the dish is either 31" or 33" (if I remember correctly). It is an older model.

There are a few circular polarized channels that are not scrambled that she might watch. Atleast you could get your FTA started that way. There are alot of creative people here that can tell you how to mount multiple lnbs on most any dish. Sadoun sells a bracket that could be attached to your dish.
