is this a linear lnb? sorry for the quality, the words say precision digital lnbf s/n 21300084 cerritos CA

It certainly COULD be....... Does it have any frequencies printed on it? The IF or LO frequencies would be helpful in confirming.
 
heh u got everything i had to give... nothing else on it... i guess its gonna be hook it up & see what happens... the guy said it was a foreign lnb... but it has a california addy on it
 
If the LNBF is Linear and functioning....... Set your LNBF type to either Universal type: LO 9750/10600 or Standard Type: LO 10750 then perform a Blind Scan. If the found transponders have the correct transponder frequency, then you have chosen the correct LNBF type.
