MAC OS X FIOS users?

Any MAC OS X (10.4.x TIGER) users here using FIOS?

My folks (all mac users) installed FIOS and are getting limited to *only* 10meg/s.

Anyone have the magic tuning (I've googled and sent them stuff, but I'm making sure I haven't missed something).

I don't have the luxury of the 15/2 service here (3m/512k at my house )

I haven't really checked the bandwidth on my Mac (although I should), but it seems just as fast as my XP machine that is sitting right next to it.

I good download is the Apple Broadband Booster or something like that. It is a small program released by Apple specifically meant to optimize system settings for high-end broadband connections such as FiOS.

Let me find it and I will post a link.

My brother had found that. Apparently you can tweak it (it just sets a bunch of sysctl's).

I'm waiting for feedback on that as well.

Another way that I have found to boost the internet speed is to use FireFox with the Faster Fox extension installed. This is basically my setup (with the above tuner installed) and it seems mighty quick to me.
