Well, I get home and its a damn 738, not a 838. Ugh...
738 has grayscale and cms adjustment, which is what I cared about, as well as gamma, so I called amazon and decided to keep it. No real big difference between the two, except the soundbar. After about 10 mins, they gave me the $310 price difference.

Ill put up some pics soon. My geometry is good outta the box, did the h and v positioning, and removed all geometry correction for 1:1 pixel mapping.

I haven't seen a DLP or any RPTV on a showroom floor in probably a year or more. All the same, when my 61" JVC LCoS RPTV bites the dust, I'll probably be looking at DLP - so long as there's no color wheel. I'm spoiled, size wise. I'm gonna havta find out where elwaylite lives, and pay his TV a visit when he's not around.

Here are some before and after shots, you can see where more image is shows after the null, and it looks A-OK to me outta the box. Ill get a resolution test pattern up there in couple of days.

If you thought the 73 box was big, you should of seen the 82 incher.
