The Rays-Guardians playoff game last Saturday was scoreless into the 14th inning. That set an MLB record for the longest scoreless postseason game.

It took 150 years to have a 14 inning 0-0 playoff game in MLB.

In 7 days, that record has been broken again. That is AMAZING.

Guardians started and finished strong. A pretty good game overall and now the Guardians have a shot at the ALCS. Low to mid 50s for the game.

NL East final standings

Braves 101-61
Mets 101-61
Phillies 87-75

NL West final standings

Dodgers 111-51
Padres 89-73

Out of these 5 teams, guess which 2 teams are meeting in the NLCS. Mind-boggling

Chapman may have helped…..oh well

And Clay Holmes. Apparently Aaron Boone said Holmes would only be available in an emergency (hello Aaron, last night was a 4 alarm fire). Also interesting that Holmes didn’t know this and was surprised he didn’t get the call. If George was still alive, I’m not so sure Boone would be managing the team tonight.

With all the big boys in the NL eliminated and the Yankees on the brink of elimination, not surprisingly, the Astros are now overwhelming favorites to win the World Series. However, the last week has shown us that anything is possible in the MLB playoffs.

Then again, Someone knocked those Big Boys off ...

Poor yankees, they were So much looking to another match up with the Astros ... not this year.
