More SiriusXM channel changes

TheKrell this news may be of interest to you

Well, that sucks if the old programming is now completely gone from my car radio. I noticed Calm appeared in place of Spa just this afernoon on the way back from dropping off a Mother's Day cake at my daughter's house. I assumed it was just a name change. The Calm channel was playing a slow and monotonous song called, "Good Weather for an Airstrike"! No, I'm wrong. That's the artist's name. Is everything going to be this dang slow on Calm?

Seems "Calm" is more of a "techno chill" format, while Spa remains as it was- new age- just not on satellite.

Time to send another comment email to SiriusXM.

This is GREAT news. Do we have any word when Calm will depart and we have Spa again? I emailed SiriusXM at the address above, and so far received no answer.

They usually don't respond, but they get the message. They tried to remove Escape one time and the backlash was so great, it returned in less than a month.

and more artist channels in the rock section. why in the hell do we need thatoldmad. that is the one thing i wish they would get rid of

I don't mind if they made the artist channels streaming-only; it's when they take over normal channels that bothers me. Especially when there's zero notice given, as was the case with Spa.

I didn't check yesterday or Monday, but on Sunday 68 was still Calm.

And yesterday (May 22nd) 68 was still Calm. This is looking like a permanent switch. Fortunately, my sub ends next month.
